Integrated Infrastructure Planning or IIP Pty Ltd is a Sunshine Coast based company that works in partnership with local governments in Queensland to deliver quality infrastructure planning and charging documents which comply with the relevant legislation and regulations.

Integrated Infrastructure Planning (IIP) works in two key areas:

Local Government Infrastructure Plans

What Do We Do?

A Local Government Infrastructure Plan (LGIP) is a requirement under the new Planning Act, and is the infrastructure planning which underpins the land use planning in a Councils planning scheme.

Ideally, these documents work together to produce well sequenced, affordable development opportunities. IIP works with many Councils in Queensland in developing LGIPs including Moreton Bay Regional Council, Western Downs, Goondiwindi, and Gympie.

IIP was appointed to the Panel of LGIP Reviewers and to date, IIP has undertaken compliance audits for Moreton Bay Regional Council, Western Downs Regional Council, Fraser Coast Regional Council, Gympie Regional Council and Sunshine Coast Regional Council.

What Do We Do?

IIP has been involved in the infrastructure planning and charging regimes for some complex development fronts where multiple land owners are involved, or progressive infrastructure planning is required to facilitate the development. IIP has worked with many councils in to develop and review LGIPs, as well as assist in the planning and infrastructure agreement drafting for many new areas including Caboolture West, Caloundra South, Palmview and Maroochydore City Centre.
